🚀Getting Started

Step 1: Create a Campaign

  1. Go to your Campaigns Dashboard
  2. Click "Create Campaign"
  3. Choose a memorable campaign code (like "SUMMER20" or "WELCOME")
  4. Set your cooldown period (how often customers can reuse it)
  5. Set max uses per person (e.g., 5 times)
  6. Click "Create Campaign"

Step 2: Share Your Campaign

Your campaign link will look like:

https://reusepass.org/claim-campaign/SUMMER20

Share this link:

  • On social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
  • Via email or SMS to customers
  • On printed materials (flyers, receipts)
  • As a QR code in your store

Step 3: Customers Claim & Redeem

ReusePass works for BOTH in-store and online orders:

🏪 In-Store Redemption (QR Code)

  1. Customer visits your campaign link
  2. They get a QR code on their phone instantly
  3. At checkout, scan their QR code with QR Scanner
  4. Customer can reuse based on your cooldown settings

💻 Online Redemption (Code)

  1. Customer visits your campaign link
  2. They get a redemption code (e.g., SUMMER20-8X9K2)
  3. Customer emails/texts you the code with their order
  4. You verify it in Verify Code dashboard
  5. Apply discount manually and mark as redeemed

⚙️How It Works

Campaign Settings Explained

🕐 Cooldown Period

The minimum time between redemptions for each customer. Options:

  • No cooldown: Use immediately after each redemption
  • 24 hours: Once per day (most common)
  • 168 hours: Once per week

🎯 Max Uses Per Person

Total number of times a single customer can redeem the campaign. Example: Set to 5 means each customer can redeem up to 5 times total.

📊 Max Total Uses (Optional)

Campaign-wide redemption limit across all customers. Example: Set to 100 means the campaign ends after 100 total redemptions. Leave empty for unlimited total uses.

📍 Location (Optional)

Restrict campaign to a specific location. If not set, valid at all your locations.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do customers need to create an account?

No! Customers simply visit your campaign link and automatically get both a QR code AND redemption code. No signup, no app download, no friction.

Can customers use campaigns for online orders?

Yes! Every campaign works for BOTH in-store and online orders. Customers get:

  • QR Code: For in-store checkout (scan with your phone)
  • Redemption Code: For online orders (e.g., SUMMER20-8X9K2)

For online orders, customers email/text you the code, you verify it in your Verify Code dashboard, apply the discount, and mark as redeemed.

How do you prevent fraud and abuse?

We use device fingerprinting and person IDs to track unique customers. Combined with your cooldown settings, this prevents customers from claiming multiple times unfairly.

Can I have multiple campaigns running at once?

Yes! Create as many campaigns as you want. Each gets its own unique code and link.

What happens when a campaign reaches max total uses?

The campaign automatically becomes inactive. New customers can't claim it, but existing customers who already claimed can still see their QR code.

Can I edit a campaign after creating it?

Yes! You can pause, activate, or edit campaign settings anytime from your dashboard.

How do I scan QR codes at checkout?

Use your phone's camera or any QR scanner app. The QR code will direct you to a redemption page where you can mark it as redeemed. We're working on a dedicated scanner app!
